Beginner Quilting: Binding

Bring the quilt top you created in our Beginner Quilting: Piecing and Cutting class—or a small pre-quilted sample—and get ready to give it a beautiful, finished edge! In this final session, you’ll learn how to make and attach quilt binding using both your sewing machine and simple hand-stitching techniques.
You will bring your quilted piece and some binding fabric to use during class. We recommend using something other than a "real" project so you can do all of your learning on a quilt that isn't meant to be an heirloom.
