Pieced Pillow with Hand Quilting

Ready to take your piecing to the next level? This class covers making an Astra Pillow size top. While working through the pattern in class, students will learn about 4 at-a-time flying geese, accurate piecing for smaller strips, and nesting seams. Students will also learn to master the scant quarter inch for the accurate piece, pressing techniques, and nesting seams. To make this pillow really special, we will be trying our hands at quilting this pillow top by hand to add that extra level of handmade art. At the end of class, you will walk away with a beautiful pillow top and instructions on turning it into a pillow.
