Improv at an Angle: Class 2 Improv Series

In this class we will build upon skills learned in the Step into Improv class to effectively incorporate angles (triangles, trapezoids, you name it) into our improv piecing repertoire. We’ll add angle improv to our small linear compositions, and build small studies just from angles.  We will take time to talk about the bias inherent in angle piecing and  how to avoid stretching fabric to keep our compositions flat. By using the same material that we used in the first class, our compositions will have a color cohesiveness that will be continuous as we create.

Stephanie Ruyle is a multi-award winning quilter and member of Bee Sewcial, an international quilting bee. Check out her Instagram @spontaneousthreads to see her work and the Bee Sewcial website to see the quilts she has collaborated in. We are honored to have her teaching with us!
