Let's Talk Batiks!

Join us for an evening of everything batiks, from start to finish: design concepts and color through the whole process of creating these one-of-a-kind works of art! Even if you're not sure you love the art of batik making, join us to learn a bit of the behind-the-scenes from Karen Gibbs, the Design Director for Expressions, Riley Blake Designs Batik Division. Karen is an award-winning textile designer, with a passion for the batik-making process. She has been all around the quilting industry, as an author, a longarmer, a cotton designer, and a national instructor but she found her niche in batiks. Because batiks are handmade, just like our quilt-making processes, they marry so beautifully with our industry.
Light refreshments will be provided.
We will have a sale this evening on batiks! $10 of your registration fee goes toward any batik purchases that evening.
