Color Lecture + Trunk Show with May Chappell (MCWB)
Spend a fun evening with Lee learning about color and admiring the beautiful quilts, etc. that she will be sharing with us. Lee is an amazing artist and a color expert. We can't wait to have her here! You will love her energy and attitude as well as all of her great advice.
The feature of this evening is Lee's lecture on color. Do you sometimes struggle to select colors for your projects? She will help to demystify working with color and maybe even make that process fun for you. Wish you could keep her around to help you on all of your upcoming projects? Good news! She has a new book that has come out all about using color in your projects. We'll have copies here for you to purchase, and she will be happy to autograph them for you as well!

Besides the fun color lecture, there will also be a trunk show. We have been lucky enough to have seen her quilts, bags, etc. in person before, so you are in for a treat! She really is a pro when it comes to designing and selecting colors for her projects.

| Instructor Bio: | Lee has been creating since she first discovered crayons at age 2! She’s from a family of quilters and learned everything from her mother, affectionately known as The Guru. She loves all things fabric—from zippy pouch to queen size quilt—and everything in between. With a love of color and bold graphic shapes, Lee enjoys designing patterns and teaching all types of classes, while sharing her adventures on her blog, www.maychappell.com. She is a trained graphic designer which shows in her clean aesthetic. Her work has appeared in multiple publications. Lee is a BERNINA Ambassador, as well as a Creative Spark and Craftsy instructor. Lee is the author of Jump into Sewing, published by C&T Publishing. She is an active member of the Triad Modern Quilt Guild. Lee lives in beautiful North Carolina with her dog, Agnes Piper. |
