Sew a Halloween Treat Bag: Young Sewists (Ages 9–17)
Join sewing instructor Tiffany for a fun, not-so-spooky Halloween-themed class! Students will make their own treat bag and add cute embellishments. The finished bag measures 12" x 13", giving plenty of room for lots of treats!
In this class, students will learn:

Pattern cutting based on measurements

Adding a lining to a bag

How to box corners
-
Simple applique embellishments
Class will be from 3:30pm - 4:30pm both days. This class is ideal for students ages 9-17, whoever is a beginner sewer or wants to learn how to make a very handy bag!
Since this is a class for minors, please plan on signing your student in and out with the instructor during drop off and pick up. Adults are welcome to stay and shop around, but do not need to stay for the class.
Supplies students need to bring:

½ yard Halloween-themed cotton fabric for the outside (solid or print)

½ yard cotton fabric for the lining (solid or print)

1/8 yard canvas or cotton for the handles
