Sew Pajama Pants: Young Sewists (Ages 9–17)

Join sewing instructor Tiffany to make your very own pair of super comfy pajama pants! These beginner-friendly pants feature a simple elastic waistband (no pockets this time) and will be perfect for cozy winter days.
In this class, students will learn:

Tracing pattern pieces

Cutting fabric using a pattern

Adding an elastic waistband
-
Hemming
Class will be from 3:30pm - 4:30pm both days. This class is ideal for students ages 9-17, whoever is a beginner sewer or wants to learn how to make comfy pajama pants!
Since this is a class for minors, please sign your student in and out with the instructor. Adults are welcome to stay and shop but do not need to stay for class.
Supplies students need to bring:

Cotton or non-stretch fabric (amount based on student measurements—please pre-measure your student using the chart below)
- Please pre-wash your fabric before coming to class

1 yard of 1.5" elastic

Thread to match fabric
- Pattern ease or tracing paper
