Sew a Boho Style Banana Bag: Kid Class (Ages 8 – 17)
Expand your sewing skills by learning how to sew in a zipper! In this class students will make a Boho style banana bag (which is fun term for a crescent bag).
In this class, students will learn:

Sewing in a standard zipper

Topstitching

Assembling the bag

Pockets
Since this is a class for kids, please sign your student in and out with the instructor. Adults are welcome to stay and shop but do not need to stay for class.
Students are welcome to bring their own machine, but also can use our wonderful Bernette class machines. Sewing supplies will be provided for the students to use during the class, if they are not on the supply list below.
Supplies:
- 1 yard of canvas
- 3 1/2 yards of embroidered ribbon
- 1 16" zipper (not invisible!) or zipper by the yard
