Featherweight Maintenance II: Care and Feeding of your Featherweight

Keep your Featherweight happy when you learn how to clean, feed and maintain it. This is the second in a series of classes we will be presenting to learn about Maintaining Featherweights. This one-day maintenance workshop is for Singer 221 or 222 (Featherweight) vintage machines only. This is a hands-on and informational workshop. We are tickled to have Wendi Grover, a certified Featherweight technician, skilled educator, and all-around fun person, leading this class.

Bring your machine or feel free to borrow one of the instructor’s for $15. (Just let us know ahead of time so she knows to bring it.)

Topics covered include:
Cleaning, oiling, and lubricating gears and motor
Tension adjustments
Stitch formation and adjustments
Cleaning and polishing machine

Important: Featherweight Maintenance I: Making Friends with Your Featherweight is a prerequisite. Please note this is not a repair class. Machines should be in working order.
