Cottage Kitchen - Rust - Rhapsody - Anna Maria Textiles
In celebration of her 20th year in fabric design, Anna Maria Parry took a look back at the inspiration behind her very first collection, Bohemian, released in 2005. Rhapsody gave her the chance to revisit those original muses: leopard prints, exotic florals, hand-painted tile work and ceramics, and tapestries. They were simply things she loved then, and as it turns out, she still loves them now. But with time comes experience, a more practiced hand, a more seasoned eye, and a deeper connection to those sources of beauty. Rhapsody is not just a nod to where she began, but a bookmark of where she is now as an artist and quilter. The prints are large and small, expressive, painterly, and personal. She also created a special limited-edition "Anniversary Vases" motif featuring 20 vases adorned with designs from over the years.
